Description

Supporting Neurodiversity in the Workplace for People Leaders is designed to equip leaders with the knowledge and skills to create an inclusive and supportive work environment for neurodiverse employees. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of neurodivergent conditions and learn about the unique strengths and challenges associated with each.  

Through interactive discussions and case studies, participants will explore strategies to effectively manage and support neurodiverse employees, including providing reasonable accommodations, fostering open communication, and promoting a culture of acceptance and understanding.  

The workshop will also address common misconceptions and biases surrounding neurodiversity and provide practical tools to enhance team dynamics and productivity. By embracing neurodiversity, this workshop aims to empower people leaders to create an inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive and contribute their best. 

Availability

All of our Learning programs are available in English and French. Local languages may be available for an additional fee.

Objectives

Through this session, participants will be able to: 

  • Understand the concept of neurodiversity and common neurodivergent conditions such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. 
  • Recognize the value and strengths that neurodiverse individuals bring to the workplace. 
  • Identify and challenge common misconceptions and biases surrounding neurodiversity in order to promote a more inclusive and supportive work environment for all employees. 
  • Develop strategies to manage and support neurodivergent employees, including reasonable accommodations, fostering open communication, and addressing individual needs.
