A study conducted by the Mayo Clinic in 2023 found that in the United States, the yearly cost linked to reduced work productivity because of menopausal symptoms amounts to approximately $1.8 billion1. About 15 percent of those surveyed admitted to either missing work or cutting back on their hours due to these symptoms2.
