In this workshop, participants will explore barriers and challenges experienced by 2SLGBTQIA+ employees in the workplace and delve into their role and responsibilities as People Leaders to provide support and build diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces.
Leaders will identify important areas and practices including supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ employees at all stages of their relationship with the organization (hiring and recruitment; onboarding; retention; advancement); allyship and advocacy; and support such as mentorship and coaching.
Participants will apply their learning to practical scenarios they may experience in the workplace and identify actions they can take as People Leaders with their teams and in their organization to promote belonging and inclusion.
