Preventing burnout: Supporting your team and yourself

Description

Burnout is a critical challenge in today’s fast-paced work environment with more than 40% of the global workforce experiencing signs of burnout that are negatively affecting personal wellbeing and productivity. This session incorporates practical exercises and real-world scenarios to help leaders discuss and apply 5 evidenced based strategies to effectively prevent burnout in their teams including techniques for managing workload pressures, implementing flexible work arrangements, and promoting psychological safety. Leaders are also provided an opportunity to assess their personal burnout risk factors, and create an action plan to reduce risk and promote personal wellbeing.

Structure

This instructor led session combines lecture with a variety of engaging elements including   self assessment, small group discussions, skill building activities, Q&A, and chat functionality when delivered virtually
