Children face many challenges in this complex world and succeeding at school can be confusing and stressful. Attending school, staying motivated, completing schoolwork, working with peers, managing time on technology and building social relationships requires knowledge, persistence and life skills. Children rely on their parents and carers to encourage and to help them navigate the school years successfully, however, too often parents are at a loss on how to help their children succeed. When children struggle with school, it affects their carers mental and physical wellbeing which can have a negative impact on their work and family life.
With knowledge, skills and resources, there are many ways that families can help their children thrive rather than just survive at school. Resourcing employees reduces parental stress so they can succeed at home and be more focussed and productive at work. Workplace programs that support working parents and their families to thrive, nurture a family-friendly workplace culture.
