Description

While being a parent or carer is a joyful experience, managing work and family life can be stressful and challenging at every stage of a child’s development from baby to teenager – leaving parents with many questions and needing guidance.

Inclusive workplace programs that cater for the needs of a diverse workforce, can reduce the worry and stress of parenting by providing working parents with an opportunity to ask their burning questions and receive resources, ideas and inspirations from a trusted expert.  Helping working parents better manage work and family life and navigate their daily parenting issues more confidently and reduces parental stress so employees can succeed at home and be more focussed and productive at work. Workplace programs that support working parents and their families to thrive, nurture a family-friendly workplace culture.

Designed for working parents and carers raising children aged toddler to teenager, there are 3 Question and Answer sessions for different developmental stages: Pre-school, School and High School.

Structure

Flexible learning with:

  • Interactive Webinar
  • Webinar Recording
  • Tip Sheet

For each of the three webinar sessions, parenting and child development questions can be asked in advance through an online submission form or during the live webinar session – all in a confidential and safe environment.  During the session the family wellbeing expert answers as many questions as time allows – providing guidance and support to participants who ask questions and others attending the session who are curious to learn more or have similar challenges.

Each Question and Answer session in the series supports employees to develop their knowledge and skills with:

  • A live 1-hour interactive webinar with step-by-step strategies
  • Opportunity to ask questions with a family wellbeing expert
  • Engaging with interactive elements including polls and reflective activities

After the webinar participants and their family have access to:

  • Webinar recording (for 4 weeks or the duration of 6- or 12-month webinar series)
  • Downloadable Tip Sheet with links to further resources

There are three 60-minute question and answer sessions in this webinar series – allowing employees raising children aged toddler to teenager to ask their questions and receive strategies and support from a family wellbeing expert.

Sessions are provided for working parents across the three key stages of child development:

  • Session 1 Pre-school – Children 18 months to 5 years
  • Session 2 School – Children 6 – 11 years
  • Session 3 High school – Children 12+ years

Each Question and Answer session can be delivered as stand-alone session or as part of a 3-part series. Many organisations add the three Question and Answer sessions to a 6- or 12-month webinar series. Providing working parents with ongoing programs throughout the year, empowers employees to develop and embed sustainable wellbeing practices.
