Description

In today’s hybrid work environment, managing work and family life can be stressful and challenging. Whether employees are dealing with toddler tantrums or teenager meltdowns, working parents are confronted with children experiencing anger, stress, anxiety, fear, boredom and oftentimes demanding attention when parents are trying to get their work done – creating a potentially explosive situation.

For busy working parents and carers, managing their own stress, heightened emotions and staying calm in challenging circumstances is difficult and more-so for their children. This session provides working parents with the knowledge and strategies to help their children develop emotional intelligence. This includes learning simple soothing techniques to help children regulate their emotions, with tips on how to develop listening skills, and how children can extend empathy and support to their parents and siblings. These skills help family members to nurture better relationships and create more peace at home.

Resourcing employees reduces parental stress so they can succeed at home and be more focussed and productive at work. Workplace programs that support working parents and their families to thrive, nurture a family-friendly workplace culture.

Designed for working parents and carers raising children aged toddler to teenager.
