Description

Work has an extremely important place in our lives. Along with relationships with family and friends, work is a complex and challenging part of everyday life. We are living in a society whose roots are based in the work ethic, and we define ourselves mainly by our jobs or careers. That makes it even harder when the workplace changes dramatically or when our jobs may be in jeopardy.

In addition to our families experiencing the “fallout” of workplace change, we lose a very important support system when colleagues with whom we’ve developed a relationship are transferred to another worksite or are terminated.
