Authentic leadership

Description

Authentic leadership isn’t just good practice – it’s a strategic advantage that has been shown to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover costs. Designed for emerging and experienced leaders, this high impact session explores the 4 pillars of authentic leadership: self awareness, integrity, intention, and relationships of trust. Using case scenarios and interactive discussions, participants assess their leadership style and practice applying authentic leadership skills in a variety of challenging and real-world situations. Participants will leave equipped with practical tools and leadership strategies that build team trust and communicate with greater intention, empathy, and transparency.

This instructor-led session combines lectures with a variety of engaging elements including  self assessment, case scenario discussions, skill building activities, and opportunities for Q&A.

  • What does trust look like in a team
  • Case scenario: responding to constructive feedback about your leadership style
  • Tools and resources that help build trust in teams
  • Action planning
