Parents and carers can experience challenging behaviours at all stages of their children’s development – however, generally none are as difficult to navigate as the pre-teen and teen years. Working parents raising one or more pre-teens or teenagers often experience argumentative, volatile and sometimes even downright disrespectful behaviour.
In this session, employees with caring responsibilities learn practical strategies from positive psychology and other areas of child development to help them navigate the pre-teen and teen years more confidently and peacefully. Resourcing employees supports their families to thrive rather than just survive as children move towards adulthood, making work and family life more manageable.
When employees succeed at home, they are more focussed and productive at work. Workplace programs that support working parents and their families to thrive, nurture a family-friendly workplace culture.
Designed for working parents and carers raising children aged pre-teen to teenager.
