Description

Many employees with caring responsibilities are concerned about how much screen time their children are accessing. With children becoming increasingly obsessed with screentime, working parents experience device fights and meltdowns when they take try to restrict phone, tablet, laptop or TV time.

Dealing with these challenging situations on a daily basis is very stressful and time consuming. Inappropriate use can lead to cyberbullying, mental health issues and even addiction, affecting all areas of a child’s life. Many parents and carers are ill-equipped to navigate these stressful screen time situations effectively with many questions including: How much screen time is too much? Is time on the internet, social media and playing violent video games safe for children?

Resourcing employees to manage screen time more effectively will reduce stress and help them to succeed at home so they can be more focussed and productive at work. Workplace programs that support working parents and their families to thrive, nurture a family-friendly workplace culture.

Designed for working parents and carers raising children aged toddler to teenager.
