Description

Every day working parents and carers encounter personal and professional challenges that require them to solve problems. It’s the same for their children who need to overcome issues that arise at pre-school, school, at home and at play. In this ever-changing complex world, children must navigate complex challenges such as overcoming bullying, managing stress of schoolwork as well as managing social relationships – making friends and working collaboratively with diverse peers. When children are experiencing changes, it can have a negative impact on the child and whole family wellbeing.

When parents and carers have the knowledge and resources to support their children to learn effective problem-solving skills, it reduces parental worry and stress. Equipping children with the confidence and the skills to navigate life’s ups and downs means they won’t feel helpless and can navigate the world safely even when their parents and carers are not there to guide them. Developing a child’s skills and maturity becomes increasingly important as children move into adolescence, become more independent and face choices and challenges in the teen years that can have far reaching negative consequences for themselves and the wellbeing of the whole family.

Resourcing employees reduces parental stress so they can succeed at home and be more focussed and productive at work. Workplace programs that support working parents and their families to thrive, nurture a family-friendly workplace culture.

Designed for working parents and carers raising children aged toddler to teenager.
