Description

Working parents and carers are bombarded with information and “advice” from well-meaning family and friends, the media and various social media channels. It is highly confusing and stressful receiving so much competing advice and being watched, criticised and judged both on and offline.

In this environment it is hard for employees with families not to feel anxious, stressed and worried about what their colleagues, family, friends and even strangers will say about their parenting and their child’s development.

Navigating the work and family juggle when focussing on:

  • Saving face with family, friends and strangers.
  • Trying to do what others will find acceptable.
  • Focusing on appearing to be in control in public at all costs.
  • Worrying about how our actions or our child’s actions reflect on us as parents.

… are not effective ways to raise happy, well-balanced and confident children. All this pressure can harm an employee’s sense of self and mental wellbeing. To support employee and family wellbeing parents raising children toddler to teenager need help!

Resourcing employees reduces parental stress so they can succeed at home and be more focussed and productive at work. Workplace programs that support working parents and their families to thrive, nurture a family-friendly workplace culture.

Designed for working parents and carers raising children aged toddler to teenager.
