Many parents and carers find themselves living with “adult” children at home who are still dependent on their parents. This can arise when children simply don’t leave or find their way back to their parent’s home. While there can be many wonderful aspects of having adult children at home, it can at times be frustrating, stressful and even very difficult – which can have a negative impact on family wellbeing. The practical parenting ideas and strategies in this session will support parents to develop effective approaches to taking care of themselves and managing work and family while living with adult children at home.
Resourcing employees reduces parental stress so they can succeed at home and be more focussed and productive at work. Workplace programs that support working parents and their families to thrive, nurture a family-friendly workplace culture.
Designed for working parents and carers raising children aged toddler to teenager.
