Navigating a chronic illness at work involved balancing health needs with professional responsibility. This can be a difficult path , especially when disclosure feels uncomfortable.

Our Managing chronic innless in the workplace session offers practical tools and strategies to help employees transition from Chronic Confusion to Chronic confident – empowering them to honor their talents and ambitions with integrity and sustainable action.

The challenges of fluctuating capacity, combined with the emotional and mental load of managing chronic illness, highlight the importance of sustainable work practices, supportive conversations and adaptive environments.

In this workshops, employees will learn how to:

  • Understand and asses their personal capacity, then communicate effectively with managers and colleagues.
  • Break the “Chronic Confusion” cycle by developing strategies for Chronic Confidence.
  • Design work plans that align with both their health needs and career goals.

Structure

This one-hour webinar will include a presentation and a Q and A part towards the end.

How the programme works:

  1. Select Programme: Choose one or more chronic illness awareness sessions and decide if you would like to host them on Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  2. Programme Setup: Your organisation will receive registration link(s) an outline of each session to share with your employees.
  3. Reminders: Once registered, employees will receive reminders 1 week, 1 day, and 1 hour before each webinar. Participants can join live or watch the replay.
  4. Reporting: After each session, your organisation will receive a brief summary of registration and attendance numbers, plus any summary of feedback received.
