Description

Leaders have a crucial responsibility to ensure that their workplaces are free from psychological risks and hazards.

Psychosocial hazards are factors in the design or management of work that heighten the risk of work-related stress and can lead to psychological or physical harm. Leaders must possess the skills and knowledge necessary to eliminate these risks and ensure a safe working environment.

This in-depth workshop will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of how to build psychologically safe and healthy workplaces. It will equip leaders with the tools and strategies needed to develop and implement effective practices for maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Describe psychological risk and hazards in the workplace and how they can lead to stress.
  • Examine how a leader can respond to workplace hazards, including bullying and harassment and poor job design.
  • Identify practical strategies that a leader can take to mitigate workplace risks.
