Contributing to Psychologically Safe Teams

Creating a mentally healthy workplace is an ongoing journey. Skills and mindsets evolve with reinforcement, and a mental health learning pathway helps boost awareness and retention, keeping mental health top of mind for months or years.

Description

Typically, when we think about mental health in the workplace, we don’t automatically consider our individual responsibility and opportunity in contributing to a psychologically safe workplace.

This includes allowing others to share ideas and thoughts safely, to support our colleagues manage workplace environment, and to be a peer to speak to, if needed.

The session focuses on strategies that individual employees can adopt to contribute to a safe team culture.
